Ambition.

TalkTalk came to market in 2019 wishing to change its sourcing model from that involving a Print Manager to a direct supply arrangement. Go Inspire was selected from the process and awarded a 4-year contract supplying a direct, exclusive lead supply service.

Strategy.

  • Daily transactional print and mail
  • Personalised and non-personalised large-scale direct mail
  • Data hygiene and returned mail processing
  • E2E document management including document composition (with self-serve facility) into multi-media communications (Quadient Inspire)
  • Marketing POS leaflets (a Group service though Go Inspire Eclipse)
  • Lead Supply management of bespoke third-party providers of niche products and consumables (e.g. promotional goods and POS material)
  • Creative design associated with improving the impact of all communications

Results.

  • A 30% reduction in like-for-like costs
  • A £350K pa. reduction in like-for-like Royal Mail costs
  • A new agile and flexible supplier/customer working arrangement, accommodating a dynamic set of requirements, typical of a regulated market
  • An inventive lead supply service as part of a ‘one stop shop’
  • A new, bespoke, toolset covering E2E document management

The move to Go Inspire created a new model for managing our print and direct mail activities. The phased transition of work from previous vendors was complex and challenging. This was compounded by the TalkTalk HQ moving from London to Manchester and a complete change of personnel through the TalkTalk team. At all times, Go Inspire provided great support through this period and delivered on their commitments.

Reflecting back on the time since transition to Go inspire we have been able to see a lot of efficiencies, cost reductions and a more structured way of working with a valued strategic partner.
